Queer Tabletop Resources

On this page you will find resources for queer gaming communities, articles & news about queer gaming, and a list of queer, queer-adjacent, and queer friendly tabletop RPGs. These lists are neither comprehensive, nor exhaustive. One of the challenges with finding resources for tabletop RPGs is that the reach in our community is very small. We likely will never have a comprehensive list of the various resources available. To that point, if you know of a community, article, or game that belongs on this page and is not, PLEASE let us know & we’ll do our best to get it added as quickly as we can! The best way to do this is by sending an email to RiverhouseGamesMN@gmail.com.

Queer/LGBT+ Gaming Communities

GaymerX – Convention series centering queer/LGBT+ folk & games
Tabletop Gaymers – “We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who helps to coordinate social events, educational events, and encourage networking within the community.”
Rolled This Way – LGBTQ Gamers & Friends on Google+
We’re always on the lookout for more great communities. If you know of a good community to list here, please email us at RiverhouseGamesMN@gmail.com

Articles & Websites

Ordered by author last name, for the most part, these will be articles specifically about queerness in tabletop roleplaying games. However, when particularly relevant, articles that feature video games may be included. Please send any articles or resources not listed here to RiverhouseGamesMN@gmail.com & we’d be happy to list them here!
